I really wanted to like these, but after trying to get used to them and failing, all I can say is these are probably the worst trimmers I’ve ever owned. Clumsy to use, no grip, requires FAR too much hand pressure. They’re just all wrong.I give them 2 stars because they certainly look nice.

I wanted a pair of these for months, and then the price dropped and I got them. They are well made, pretty, and come with a nice case. Typical German engineering. That said, here are cons….1. They are very small. Almost too small. Not easy to use2. There are no grips on the handle of any kind. They are very slippery. Totally smooth. Not good3. They don’t really cut any better than anything else, including cheaper clippersThey Are worth the price, as I got them on sale. At the full $72 price, not on your life….

It took me quite some debate before I placed the order for this super expensive toe nail clipper. I just wanted a real sharp and sturdy nail clipper that I can keep for years. It is very sturdy and I like the shape of the tip that makes it easy to follow the curve of my toe nails. However I am disappointed at its sharpness. It’s not sharp so it tends to slip off the edge when I tried to clip off a thin strip from my toe nails. I have to hold it with some strength so it won’t slip to the wrong place. Maybe I had the bad luck to get one that didn’t quite pass their quality control. Considering the price I paid for, I am sending this one back.

Use these to cut husbands toe nails. Work great but wish I had gotten a bigger size of nippers due to I have large hands.

It’s a good, sturdy product. It has a short fulcrum, so some effort is needed for tough nails.

These are by FAR the best toe nail clippers I have ever used. The construction is first rate. They are very sharp. My toe nails are extremely thick. I have never been able to cut them well until I got these. Highly recommended. They also do an excellent job on my finger nails.

Expensive but the best device I’ve ever had for quickly and painlessly clipping thick gnarly toe nails–and I’ve had many other clippers, nippers, and scissors that did not live up to their hype as the best device for dealing with thick overgrown and ingrown nails.

There is a crack between the cutting edges. Only at the tip of the nippres do they come tightly together. The cut is not clean because there is no full contact along the full length of the cutting edges. Not very useful unless one intends to make cuts with the very tip of the nippers. The unit I have received is improperly sharpened. Took a picture with a flashlight underneath – to show how light shines through opening between the fully closed blades.

This clipper is amazing. I don’t understand how the germans manage to make the best metal products…always. These clippers cut clean and smooth.
