A good looking shoe and apparently well made. I can walk a mile and a half or so in them and feel I’ve got enough support. When I stretch that to a three mile walk, not so much.

These shoes are light, have adequate traction and are slightly smaller than a true 9.5 Ex wide (4E) that I usually wear. Get one size larger than your reg size. The factory used the wrong laces (52” X 1/4” wide) FLAT laces… the round eyelets are only 3/32” wide. I had to purchase a set of 59” X 3/32” waxed round laces (for dress shoes) to fit and lace up properly. Otherwise, they are comfortable for long walks and have broken in quickly and now feel great. I haven’t had them long enough to see how durable they are and what they’ll be like a few months from now. They are made in China.

I have a couple of pair of Fitville shoes with the mesh upper in size 11 and I brought this pair as a formal shoe. The suggestion was to buy a size up in this dress sneaker (I got an 11 1/2) and that worked out well. The leather doesn’t stretch like the mesh so that’s the way to go. I’ve given the shoes 4 stars for comfort and that’s really my problem – they’re still the best shoes I’ve got for comfort. Durability I haven’t rated – it’s too early for that but the other pairs are holding up well.
