10 reviews for Spenco 2nd Skin Circles Soothing Protection for Blisters, Hot Spots and Skin Irritations, Gel Circles 48-Count

  1. Mia Masterpalo

Wonderful. I used it to help with blisters on my feet from running. Worked miracles. You will need a wrap of some sorts to hold it in place, but otherwise it works amazing. 10/10

My daughter figure skates and specially when gets new boots she gets blisters which hurt a lot to skate with. This is the only thing she can wear and be able to keep skating without any pain. We always have some in our house and in her bag.

  3. Mom

Nurse used this on my burn at work. The blister never filled with fluid and the pain went away really quick. Happily bought them to keep around the house for the kiddos. Great product!!

These squares really do aid in helping burns to heal. They are cool and protective. However, they are really too small to cover an average size burn. I found myself struggling unsuccessfully, to put a couple together.

As an athletic trainer, I use 2nd skin squares all the time to help with blisters, burns, and strawberries. I have used them to heal baseball sliding wounds, but now have also used them to help with “rips” on the hands of gymnasts after their callouses get torn off. They work great. I peel off the blue side, place the exposed gel pad over the spot, and leave the clear side up before securing. It’s breathable and I get positive results quickly.

Have used this in the past and would buy again & again!

I’m sure it works well in some spots. I wrapped it with moleskin and a bandage and it still popped off from soccer. Using a non stick guaze worked better for side/under foot blisters.

This is a nice product that is very soothing but it still requires a bandage or some sort of wrapping to keep it in place. Doesn’t work very well under feet. It gets squished out or “squirted” off of where it’s needed, in my case. Buy a smaller qty to make sure it will work before spending this money for the larger quantity

All the reviews act like these are a miracle cure. They are not. I was looking for product I could use without a bandaid. I assumed these would stick to your skin. in the description they say they won’t stick, then they instruct you to stick them to your skin. I guess you could but they stick to anything else they touched and come off. I had to put a bandaid over them and then they were all dried out and crusty the next morning. They tell you the squares will dry out. Very expensive for nothing. I guess they would be better than nothing if you were allergic to petroleum jelly or some other reason. Save yourself and use vaseline under a bandaid like the dermatologist tells you. Same dermatologist told me the purpose of a bandage was to keep the wound from drying out. I use Aquaphor and it works great. I had to learn my expensive little lesson the hard way.

My 12 year old daughter asked for these as she is on pointe for ballet. She said has to use tape to keep the patches adhered to her toes. Overall they work and she’s happy with them but she wished they adhered better to the toes.
